Oscar Thompson becomes the future of British tennis, in style  

In his record breaking Wimbledon win, the 17 year old still has 'a lot to prove' as he raises through the ranks in style

This morning Oscar Thompson arrives at the CX hq wearing a full Ralph Lauren tracksuit and shoes, Louis Vuitton belt and a Rolex Submariner. He is 17 and posses a rare new kind of confidence. Neither loud or quiet- subtle but kind of terrifying. The new kid on the block has arrived and this time he's better than ever. 

This new swagger and spotlight comes with huge amounts of pressure on and off the court. Thompson is renowned for his party lifestyle and as we sit down he is reminded of the importance of being in control " I don't want to get carried away with this new found attention. I've seen it before where young stars are led astray into alchohol and drugs. That won't be me tho." He promises, as after all "My family keep me grounded".   

"I don't belive there's a roof to how far i can go, if I stay humble then the skies the limit"

One thing that his family can't remain grounded is his style. Compared to the likes of Boris Becker and John McEnroe, he is known for his outcast playing style featuring a modern twist. Which, like Alcaraz involves an unbeatable return. Anywhere. Anytime. "When it comes to authenticity" Thompson says, "I guess it was where I came from. You have to stand out to be noticed. That goes for anything on and off the court" he adds.
